About Me…

How I found my calling...
A mentor of mine once told me, that teachers are really just really bad game designers. From that moment on, I decided to make my lessons like a game. This made my classes engaging, fun, and immersive. It was at this point, that I realized that my lifelong dream is to become a video game designer. I also have a technical side and a passion for learning programming languages. My first programming language was Python in 2014. From there, I moved on to C# and developing games in Unity. Finally, from my studies in game development, I learned visual scripting and developed games in UE4, C++, and Lua scripting.

Hobbies, Interests, and Free Time...
First and foremost, I love designing and playing games! Whether is it thinking of new campaigns and worlds that will fit in the systems of Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder, or the Call of Cthulhu, I love to conceptualize new worlds. When not designing games, I am playing games from a variety of genres to experience new types of gameplay. I feel that it is important to determine what makes a game have a sense of agency and immersion for the player. Finally, I like to play a game of Civ with my friends, going for hikes, or watching the latest sci-fi or fantasy media available.
